Position: Integrated Campaign & Media Manager
Location: Remote / work from home (Note: there may be limited travel to meet with the team in SF Bay Area
Compensation: $40,000 - $50,000 annual salary, plus benefits
About this Role
The Skysthelimit.org Integrated Media & Campaign Manager is someone with an equal affinity for creating media flows, mapping content funnels, and optimizing digital ad performance.
We are specifically looking for someone who is highly skilled in planning and managing Google Ad campaigns, YouTube campaigns, and Facebook/Instagram campaigns. This person should also share our belief that ads, landing pages, SEO, creative content, social engagement and email campaigns should work together to create an effective marketing system.
The Integrated Campaign & Media Manager should be excited to:
Support young, underrepresented entrepreneurs by increasing Skysthelimit.org’s reach and impact
Find new ways to attract experienced business professionals interested in skills-based volunteering
Set up, optimize, and report on digital and social media campaigns
Do keyword research in support of both paid search and SEO
A/B test landing pages, ad creative, and email subject lines
Track and report on KPIs on a weekly basis
Work with marketing team to improve ad creative, newsletters, and website content
Identify new opportunities to reach our target audiences of underrepresented young entrepreneurs, volunteer supporters, and donors
In addition, the Integrated Media & Campaign Manager will:
Ensure that all marketing assets created are on brand and in-line with the organization’s overall marketing objectives, strategic plan and messaging.
Work with vendors and assist in content creation
Advise on SEO content for blogs, press releases, and websites.
Implement best practices to track metrics across all initiatives.
Implement A/B testing of ad copy, creative, targeting, emails and landing pages.
Map and implement funnel for nurture campaigns including landing pages, downloadables, blog posts, and emails.
You should be:
Entrepreneurial — a high performing self-starter that knows how to make things happen
Results-driven with the ability to determine and articulate campaign and content effectiveness, and ROI
Flexible - should be able to pivot quickly when needed
Experienced with marketing automation and Content Management Systems (specifically WordPress or Squarespace)
Experienced with Email marketing systems & Marketing Tech (Hubspot, Marketo, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, MyEmma, etc.)
Knowledgeable of SEO/SEM copywriting techniques
Proficient at using various analytical tools (i.e. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, SEMRush etc.)
At Skysthelimit.org (STL), we’re a highly-ambitious tech nonprofit. There aren’t too many like us - we combine the pace, feel, and Lean Startup approach of a tech startup with the business model of a mission-driven nonprofit.
Our mission is to remove obstacles to entrepreneurship for underrepresented young adult entrepreneurs, allowing them to achieve their personal business goals - resulting in new companies, new jobs, and new products & services that strengthen our local economies across the nation and eventually the globe. And the key to our work is developing our entrepreneurs’ social capital through meaningful, one-on-one support.
We have a diverse community of young entrepreneurs: 99% are ages 18 to 29, 95% are located across the US in over 40 states, 70% are female, 80% are people of color, and the majority come from low-income households when they join our program. They are building businesses across many industries: clothing, food, beauty, the trades, and a large variety of services businesses. We primarily help our entrepreneurs build tech-enabled small businesses, although we do have freelancers and some high growth startups too.
