As a solo founder, Mechelle faced the challenge of securing funding to scale Revolutionary SelfCare’s programs while managing every aspect of the business herself. Sky’s the Limit provided the guidance, tools, and relationships she needed to take her vision to the next level. With mentorship of Chris Loveless and pitch practice, Mechelle gained the confidence and clarity to powerfully share Revolutionary SelfCare’s story.

Her efforts paid off when she won the $2,500 Friends & Family Fund Grant, which allowed her to relaunch Yo Self-Care (a youth wellness group) and Fam Self-Care (a multigenerational family-centered program). The funding also supported scholarships for youth, liability insurance, refreshed digital outreach, and plans to expand her team. Sky’s the Limit didn’t just provide financial resources—it offered a supportive community that reminded Mechelle she wasn’t building alone.

With this support, Revolutionary SelfCare is now positioned for long-term growth, sustainability, and deeper impact.
