Titilope Olotu

Titilope is the founder of PADÍ, a nonprofit and biotech startup focused on menstrual health, mental wellness, and financial literacy. Her team develops biodegradable banana fiber pads and biosensors that turn menstruation into valuable health data. PADÍ serves underserved communities across the U.S., Nigeria, and India, ensuring access to sustainable products and wellness education.

She started PADÍ after seeing girls in Nigeria miss school because they couldn’t afford menstrual products, and later realizing that period poverty is just as real in the U.S.. What keeps her motivated is knowing that “every pad distributed and every wellness booth opened directly changes someone’s life.” She is driven to ensure women receive proper care and early detection of conditions that could lead to sepsis or even death, minimizing the “what ifs?” in feminine health.

Like many earliest-stage founders working to solve systemic inequities, Titilope faced the challenge of explaining a breakthrough innovation in a way that investors could easily understand.

Through Sky’s the Limit, she connected with Accenture mentors who helped her refine her pitch, simplify her messaging, and find confidence in her voice as a founder. Sky’s the Limit also opened the door to her first major pitch win, securing grant funding from the Accenture Pitch Competition.

These milestones pushed her to file for her provisional patent, unlock access to additional funding opportunities, and gain recognition on international innovation platforms.
