His hard work paid off—Jermaine won 2nd place in the Accenture x Sky’s the Limit Pitch Competition, earning $1,000 in his first-ever round of funding. The experience gave him the confidence to speak as a CEO, not just a designer. That mindset shift led to even greater opportunity: shortly after, he secured an additional $4,500 from an angel investor.
