About my business

Serving early-stage entrepreneurs who have been in business for 1-5 years, Your HR Strategist provides a dedicated HR Pro to help scale their businesses with the design and implementation of HR processes and systems. 

Starting out in HR in the family business in a director of human capital development role, Krystal realized how much she loved working in HR. This experience laid the groundwork for her and taught her about process improvement and project management.

"Working alongside my family and experiencing the joys and challenges of building a great team that can help you make impact was incredible. Now, I’m taking my 15 years of HR and operations experience and all those lessons learned to help entrepreneurs at the early stages of building their businesses scale faster by getting a good team in place, along with the policies, processes and systems in place to help take care of these people. Business mentoring story

One of the first parts of launching a business is getting clarity around the customers to better understand their challenges and how to build services that uniquely helps them to solve these challenges. This is exactly what Krystal was trying to get support with, so she was so excited to be a part of the Accenture at PNC Group Mentoring session, where she was able to dive deeper into understanding her ideal client and better position her services.

Together Krystal worked with her mentors on refining her core service offerings, messaging and market positioning. Juan helped her think about what her customer journey entails. Lakshmi helped her clarify her messaging and additional value to use in presenting her offers. Nishant helped her think about untapped parts of her service offerings that are needs for her ideal client. Michael supported her in thinking through her customer journey, value proposition and pricing.

"I appreciated getting to go deep on the problem and get a different perspective. They had good insights on my ideal client. I left the session feeling more confident about my service offerings and how to communicate value and better position my business in the market." said Krystal.

Through her session, she was also able to accomplish two key milestones: annual sales and designing her services. Krystal, said, "Things that I have been spinning my wheels about for months – through a 1 hr session – I was able to get clarity and a plan for moving forward."
